Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory welcomes your participation at the 26th Target Fabrication Specialists Meeting to be held August 23-27, 2026 in Monterey, CA.
About the Meeting
Join colleagues across research laboratories, academia, and industry for a focused meeting on the science, technology, and engineering of target fabrication for high-power and high-energy laser facilities.
This single-track meeting will feature sessions headlined by plenary invited talks, supported by contributed presentations. Dedicated poster sessions will also be held.
Awards
The Larry Foreman Award will be presented to recognize an individual for substantive and sustained innovation and excellence in target fabrication.
Call for Contributions
We welcome contributions spanning materials, metrology, and manufacturing innovations enabling inertial confinement fusion, high energy density, and related applications.
Schedule & Format
All sessions will be held during business hours, leaving evenings free for additional discussion, connecting with colleagues, and exploring the Monterey area.
The working language of TFSM26 will be English.
Publications
Papers may be optionally published in a special issue of Fusion Science and Technology. Publication submission will open on July 18, 2026.
