The National Ignition Facility (NIF) and Jupiter Laser Facility (JLF) User Groups will host a joint virtual meeting Monday, February 7, 2022 through Wednesday, February 9, 2022. We will be having exciting talks covering on-going research at both facilities, plenary talks from leading researchers in academia on high-energy-density science topics, and status updates on refurbishment and new capabilities at both facilities.

- Virtual tours of the National Ignition Facility will be offered:
This 360° virtual tour takes visitors along the regular highlights of the in-person route such as the laser bay, control room, and Target Chamber exterior. While a virtual tour can’t replace the feeling of walking around the facility, a silver lining is the ability to offer new experiences, like flying above the laser bay, soaring into the Target Chamber, and venturing deep into one of four capacitor bays that power NIF shots.
